I originally got this link from http://lazygalquilting.blogspot.com/ and it’s about a book that she suggested and I did end up ordering. If you’re interested in Amish quilts and the history behind them then this book is fantastic.

I have that book too and it’s started me down a whole new path. I now only rarely buy printed fabrics for my quilting projects.
The Amish imitation quilt I made for a mini quilt swap almost didn’t make it out the door! I had hand-quilted it and it turned out so much better than I had hoped. I ended up making one that I could keep. I love the stories also.
It sounds like a book I would like, I’ll check it out. Thanks for the review!
