So Much Fabric and So Little Time
My trip to the Moda warehouse started VERY early in the morning. Please don’t think that I’m complaining, I feel fortunate to have Moda so close to where I live. Still and all, 5am is a little too early for my liking even for a sale. Kay took a couple of photos while we were there, but we were so focused on all of the beautiful fabric that we didn’t take too many.
This was just one of the rows we walked down. There was so much wonderful fabric, the patterns and the colors fantastic. Then we went to the other side of the warehouse where the Notions were stored…. WOW!
To say that we were kids in a candy store was an understatement. The warehouse was FILLED with what amounted to candy to us. Kay was so fun to watch as she moved from shelf to shelf, ohhing and ahhhing.
What I bought was NOWHERE near what I wanted to buy, but I thought I’d share it with you.
Wow! I’ve never even heard of a store like that! What fun!!! 🙂
This is amazing! I’m crazy about fabric, and we don’t have any places like this in England. Very jealous 🙂
That’s hard to believe… Are you very far from London? I would have thought it would have a lot of fabric warehouses.
That is a LOT of fabric!! Very lucky indeed!
It’s Moda’s warehouse… they sell to businesses only which is why I was able to run amuck!! We had so much fun looking at all the new and even the old fabric.
I need a store like that here!!! Of course, I’d be happy with something like JoAnn’s at this point
We are VERY spoiled here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area… Like a lot of major cities, we have all that plus a fashion district as well! It’s nice to be able to touch and feel the fabric you’re buying as well as seeing it up close
WOW!!!! Lucky, lucky you! Poor, poor me! 🙂
aww, now I feel bad!! Well, not too bad! It was so thrilling to see all of the wonderful designs.
Wow! How exciting! It would’ve taken me hours just to browse through there! Your squares look so nice…It’s so hard for me to match all those corners, especially on a sewing machine. I wanted to say thank you again for the giveaway prize “Persian Plum”, and let you know that I posted about it today. I can’t wait to get started on those pretty fabrics.
