I’m late… blame the Olympics
Okay, so I’m late with getting my post up but who can blame me? I come from the generation that thinks the Olympic Games and still important and relevant. Saying that I was also very busy with the quilting that I wanted to get completed. I finished the quilt for my almost born nephew Jayden, completed the top for the quilt that I’ve decided to title “Land of Whimsy”, and started the blue pinwheel quilt that luckily enough Kay has agreed to do with me.
See, I have only been slacking with posting up!! Have a wonderful week full of games and quilting everybody.

Thanks Pillows!! It’s my niece and her baby boy, she is such a wonderful person I had to make something for her before he was born. I’ll probably try to put another one together when he’s older too, but only because she’s my favorite niece!!
Is the center pieced or a panel? Either way it’s adorable! Lucky Jayden!!
The Center is a panel, but it didn’t go together quite as expected. The panel started out much larger and left me scratching my head while reading the instructions to “cut down” the panel to the proper size… I didn’t get that and if I wasn’t in such a hurry, would have left it larger to accommodate the size. My favorite part was putting on the “so softy” which is what our children called satin binding and orange is my favorite color!
